Don't know where in Ca ya are but in Southern Ca where I have my other place all we get is earthquakes,followed by Santa Ana winds, with tremendous wildfires all followed up with a good rain storm ,mudslides and flooding .........Just wait til the big one hits ....that will be an "E" ticket ride for sure.......Woo~Hoo!!!!!

I am near SF... really faulty there ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) then I live right in top of the Hayward fault... that one the caused the last quake
I'm in the middle of a tsunami and a killer quake... I get to chose how to die ![Surprised](images/smiles/icon_surprised.gif)

wait untill the Cascadia subduction zone slips, that could be a 4hr quake

we had a half decent earthQuake lastnight, rocked the house, but it was the noise that got me, never heard anything like it, lasted 10 seconds, scared the crap out of tina, she came downstairs shaking and crying, i was still sat downstairs with a huge grin on my face

yes, that's what i talkin about, 1 O'clock this morning not very strong but 10 seconds long??? that's long enough to realize WTF is hapening and wonder how bad it's going to get

People on the news talked about it sounded like some BIKER had chained a FRIDGE to their MOTOR and drove along the road with it at high speed......
Like you do every day.....
Others said it sounded like they suddenly had a subway going under their floorboards.....

Welcome to the ROCK 'N ROLL club Splodge. 5.2 is a respectable little window rattler. Be prepared for the lesser aftershocks soon to follow. Usually within 48 hours of the first one. Sorry to read about that 19 year old. I keep a day pack in all of our cars. Food water and pen money, as when one of our larger one hits (7+ or higher), most of the lower over passes will be unsafe or damaged and one should be prepared to hike home.
