Back in Summer (northern hemisphere) 2006, Reuters was called to the carpet for the fact several images they published had been "outed" as not being legitimate photos after being photoshopped:

Reuters schmoiters! We are surrounded by badly photoshopped images in publications! I'm sure many of you have thumbed through oh, Martha Stewart Living and thought "How the heck did that dog get there without leaving footprints in the snow?" or looked at the cover of Seventeen and puzzled at the implications that the vampire slayer has no right hand or belly button.

Someone has started gathering these and other examples on their blogspot, appropriately named "Photoshop Disasters": http://photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com/ We've all *tsked tsked* similar examples-- Let's find fresh ones to rip apart and share with each other! I can't find it now, but there was one all over the news of Scott Peterson and either Laci or his mistress in front of a Christmas tree There was one of him with each woman, but one of them looked like a chop to me. Their shadows against the Christmas tree didn't bend with teh branches - it looked like a drop.

This pics have been on digg.com for like the past 300 years. I would have to agree tho, worse photoshop-fakery-ever!

I would label this as; keeping it real fake.

I know this has to be photoshopped, you can see the lines around the legs and nobody can be that straight around the hips.

See that's what i mean by being "disappointed" with the beavershot of brit....from this shot...you just expect it to be a lot nicer. ...ya'll do know this bad photochopping will make the genreal population and critic's frown on using PS artistically..but hey it might drop the price

thank heavens Splodge fixed her she had some evil repitilian eyes running the hair wasn't so bad but the vampire ghoul eyes were scary.
