I just upgraded to CS3.

I was under the impression that you can do all animations in it, instead of going to image ready like on my older version, CS.

Ive seen where you can open the animation window, so I think I can figure out how to create a new animation, but my dumb question is this.........

What do you do about opening an existing gif, to modify the frames?

I tried to just open by file, open, but it tells me its an animated gif and i canonly open one frame.

So, what do I do to open all the frame? I feel dumb.....

Try this

File -> import-> video to layers.

in the dialogue box type "*.*" to show all file types.

select the animated Gif you wish to open. The dialogue will ask you which frames to import

open the animation pallet and you will see all the frames asked for.
