Mark contracted a serious throat infection that required hospitalisation. (I'm guessing that his lymphatic system was affected)

Whilst there he suffered a bad allergic reaction to a drug that he was prescribed and it caused terrible swelling in his throat and led to the rupturing of one of his glands.

He is currently recovering but in a severely weakened state.

(ps.. this IS NOT an April fools joke)

Bummer. My last PM to him was about the need to take a break, recharge and something about driving over a cliff. This is not the vacation I envisioned him on. Get well quick then take a nice relaxing vacation, the kind where you can't believe it's over because you just got started and "oh what's the point you've been thinking about PSC the whole time despite the lovely company of your family and the warm grains of sand between your toes."

So is this another case of Deep Throat syndrome. It effected Washington DC way back when.

And of course since it's not an April fools joke, I would just have to believe it, especially from Granny! Not!

Marcos disappeared before without explaination, and I'm sure he'll do it again. I understand he does graphics for the British Secret Service and they keep him sequestered often for weeks while at work for them! Shocked

I hope it is not an indication of where I live but I actually saw a pickup truck with some steel scrotums hanging off the boat pulling thingamabobby on the back.. truly the first time I ever saw steel balls. Laughing Shocked
