What's with all these alternative no-fat no-meat no-pollution tofu-eating green eyelid-makeup-wearing weird treehugging chicks?

There are a gazillion Toyota Priuses in the town where I work! Some sort of "status symbol" around here even more than a "green thing." Rolling Eyes Boring!!

I am not one of them, I eat chips, eat beef, drink faucet water, breath city air, shave my legs, and gag at the sight and smell of tofu. However, I am a girl scout so the treehugging thing I do is none of your business Shocked Laughing

That's not for me either! I need to shave those pits... EWWWW on the hairiness.

But, I do carry my babies as much as possible (using a sling) and I breastfeed, and I also co-slept with all of my kids til they were 2 or 3, so I guess I am an "alternative parent" if not in my general lifestyle.

Very Happy

To each their own, I guess.
