I can remember reading this comment, Then thinking... ...WHAT'S A LAYER?.. ...i really had no I had no clue what i was getting into. I jumped in thinking everyone was just like me..new and trying to figure out how to even work PS. Now there is..... color...blur..no blur.....shadows...shades...jagged....clean.....MASK....... LAYER.....slice...chop. It's been a hell of a ride, that's for sure.....but i got my spurs dug in somehow,... Now i just gotta make it to the buzzer.

My first got two votes from Ray and Scalpod. I'll never forget the entry. It was a woman's volleyball team I turned into a womens hockey team complete with gear and dental problems. It was funny but extremely bad technique.

I am always uncomfortable looking back at the beginning to be honest. I was totally oblivious that i was getting attention, and respect from people that ..after a long bout of too much self confidence, ego, narrow mindedness? whichever it was or all, these were people I would later come to respect, value their opinions, and
in many situations feel totally embarrassed to face knowing I've never , after all this time, matched the talent some of them have displayed, and what I do have I owe completely to them. From this list of voters... Chrispis especially..I mean here's a guy that created forms of illustrative expression that later become the standard of photoshop play and he doesn't get a bit of credit for it...it's taken for granted now, some of the things people do, and they don't realize
it's something he started, nor that it's not just a simple idea anybody would do at any time. There's others here that share such landmark moments in creative illustration that will never have songs sung about them.
Also from that list is Splodge....at the end of the day, there's a guy that's supported untold numbers of people to continue doing this thing we do until they could do something that has become a part of them in maybe a small, but still important way.
