should the PSC rules be relaxed slightly in relation to artistic nudes etc |
Yes they should, but obviously still monitored closely. |

No, leave it how it is. Our children must wait until they are 21 to see any. |

Ok people, I saw the thread on swearing and bad language and this got me thinking, Then Meaty piped up in that thread with this:
Meaty wrote: Ok this really gets me ticked, we cant show boobs in an artistic image because :-
Quote: Q: Are adult images suitable here?
A: Sorry, but they are not. Anything posted to our site that is offensive in nature will be removed, including nudity. If the incident appears to be intentional, we hold the right to use your IP address to contact your ISP for further investigation. These rules also apply to those who abuse obvious copyright rules. We try very hard to abide by all written and non-written laws and regulations.
Which, boobs being a very natural thing, every woman has them and im sure every kid has seen on more than one occasion and wouldnt be offended with is not allowed, but the foul language used in no context is looked over, often my kids have stood over my shoulder while i brows the forum and certain words have cropped up in posts ive been reading, im not saying they have read them also but as soon as i see a unneccesary swear word i will skip the post so where is the logic, im more concerned about my kids reading swear words than seeing the odd boob in a picture. Also, im sorry to all the woman on psc for having offencive body forms
OK rant over.
I thought this topic deserved to be revisited and discussed separately.
My views on the matter are that I could not agree more in principal with, being a English dwelling kinda guy, ass and tits don't get blurred out on programs, the censors over here for years were strict on many things, like hardcore porn and violence, and that is fair enough. But as far back as I can remember on TV as an example ass and breasts are common place, and not thought of as offensive weapons.
Another example being every child should and indeed usually does as part of school trips, or parents taking them, see breasts, asses, and indeed even male and female fun zones at museums and art galleries. This material that often gets pulled down here, is art.
Yes, to a degree we obviously can't have real dead bodies in comps, or full on sexual Olympics, but I remember images being pulled because a top of an ass crack was visible, or what was thought to be a pubic hair was.
Give kids some credit, mine are 5 and 2, and me and my wife will and do speak openly and rationally to them, we tell them how it is, as I never saw the point of lying in important matters to kids growing up.
Basically though, I may have had a laugh at a breast when I was 10, but I am sure most kids would, but it never scared me (that I know of ) whats says the rest of you... says I

They don't look at this site. I can't get them off the p-o-r-n sites.
Damn 3 year old is addicted.
To tell you the truth. I have a mouth like a truck driver. I always have. I grew up in a tough part of town. I still have no filter. Even at professional meetings, I'm throwing out the "f" bomb. They usually get used to me quickly. My kids know that Daddy uses adult language sometimes and they should not repeat what he says. They are very good. As for nudity, as long as nobody is engaging in anything, I got no problem with it.

People here have come of with some great pieces of work without using any nude images. Now, I must say that there are times ( very few ) when doing nude artwork truly represents art but most of the time is vulgar and puts to shame real art.
torture and lynch me for my points of view!

Marco and I were just trading some Pron Sites via PM and I did make an observation there regarding this topic. Without his permission (since it is my thought and therefore is MINE - eHEM!) I'll reprint it here:
----------------------------
I've covered this topic somewhere in the last 5 years or so... I have no problems opening the door to nudity in posts here. But I am also aware that how people are brought up makes this a REALLY REALLY hard egg to crack open without getting shell-bits in the omlette.
Yankees are even MORE conservative than us Canucks. You Brits seem to be a bit looser in the booby zone and more uptight in the F*CKING SH*TTING VERBAL P**P in the print medium areas. Middle Eastern folks have trouble seeing elbows and shins. And don't get me going regarding the folks from Newfoundland!!!
So - in the interest of attempting to find a somewhat level (international?) playing field those of us with more OPEN MINDS must CHOOSE to hold back in a few areas - at least for THIS SITE. (I'm sure you KNOW where to get all the internet T&A your heart desires without my help!Wink)
--------------------------------
Okay. I've said my piece. Now: ALL THE WOMEN!
OFF WITH THOSE TANK-TOPS!!!!!

What do you mean engaging in it? In being nude here, or I am confused Rey? What are we not to be engaging in?
I like to be engaging myself. I am told I am very charming.
Or I can be when I wanna be.
Nudity in chops if tastefully done is ART and should be shown or done. Full on shocking sexual acts NO.
I should move to Europe. I don't get prudish religious ideals.
heck I am considering a lower body piercing, it's really body ART.

That is the first time I have ever seen someone restrain 'art' to the limits of 'tastefully' done while calling the exclusion of nudity a religious prudity.

Naked women belong on the streets, not on the net.

PSC is not a family friendly site. It is a safe for work site.
The rules are simple and effective for everyone.
No Nipples
No Vajayjay
No Hard Language
99% of the people around here don't have an issue.
Why would you need to stretch that? For 'arts' sake? Bullsh*t! You guys just want to make dirty pictures!
