Well thanks Ng8puk... I'm not a mother yet but I hope it happens soon.

hah well i wasn't sure about that... my auzzie friend told me that they celebrate it the same day as americans... well none the less i spose i should narrow it down then to all of those that celebrate it today happy mothers day... and for those that have already celebrated it happy belated mothers day

HAPPY MOM'S DAY, NANCERS!

We celebrate it with the Americans. Spend the day with my mother and the rest of the family but my own two kids were too busy being somewhere else. Young people today are too busy all the time.

glad somebody else celebrates it as well on the same day...and as far as the young people part... i agree the majority are to busy. i too hung out w/ my mom and my grandma... the last grand parent i have left.(my moms mom) so it was a double mothers day. in my wishing the whole mothers day thing is just that fact... celebrate your mom and her mom... you never know when they may disappear from your life. also not just your own mom... but every mom related or not... today is their day( in america and a handful of other countries ) hope it was a good one

My mother's day was spent on Saturday... We went to breakfast, then to the Ringling Brothers' Circus with the kids where we had luxury box seats! WHOO HOOO! Our own bathroom and kitchenette, nobody climbing over us to get to their seats, and my 2 year old could roam and play when she got bored of the show. Ahhhh, it was heaven!

Then, out to dinner.

The kids bought me strawberry plants and tomato plants for my garden. And my oldest made me a card and beaded key chain.

My Sunday was spent at a flag football game, then a few hours weed wacking and trimming while my husband mowed our big commercial maintenance account. My "mother's day" was great, my Sunday was long and tiresome.
