Filters can be useful, but you don't want to overuse them.

Are you tryin g to say this is not art,... Shocked .wait....this is not a good example.. Embarassed . Mrs. Crabapple said she loved it so Razz .....do you use layer modes....because if so...you use a filter. I will try and chop to your standards for now on.....NO...wait....now i'm just lying. Just wait to you see my filtered H2H...ohhhhh shit, i filtered that sumbeach damn near clear. Twisted Evil

I am a bit confused about a recent image I submitted:

I worked really hard on this image, trying to make everything work....and while it isn't nearly my best image...or the best in that competition, I am confused why it is on the bottom of the 2nd page when images like:

and

Maybe I'm just annoyed at that contest...or I'm confused on what gets votes these days.

I nearly voted for that one, Goat, but the large goat on the right has wrong lighting/tone or something. I think the image would've done much better without it.

I feel your pain but we have a much bigger crisis on our hands. Did you notice Vokaris quoting Mailer? I move that we table the odd voting trends, and embark on an immediate intervention with Vokaris before all hope is lost. Vokaris is not just some stranger on the internet, he's OUR stranger on the internet.

Ok ... it suffices to say that this thread, using my entry, is not really motivating me to continue. I know I'm new and have to learn, but don't think I deserve this either.
