I'm working on a slide show for work (mentioned in the royalty free music thread a while back).

Boss wants to have some images of people and not just the log homes. So I've spent the better part of three days trying to find the right "type" of images. I haven't found anything that goes with what we're trying to do.

Do any of you experts have tips and tricks on how to search for stock images? As an example I'm trying to find images of a grandparent baking with a grandchild (in a nice looking kitchen). I've tried iStockPhoto.com and DreamsTime.com (and a whole BUNCH of free stock photo sites). So far I've found nothing that works.

I tried Corbis but they're friggin' expensive!

hold on, i'll grab my camera and take a photo of tina, she's in the kitchen now, will a nice white wolf do instead of the grand kid???

Often it is easier to take the photo oneself when it is as spesific as that. Ask your boss to bring his mom and his child to work one day

Not a grandfather but a father with kids if you adjust it a bit and give him gray hair it's a grandfather.

Always think about second options if grandfather + kid is not available is a kid only or kid with parent ok?

off course you have a better change finding really good pic's but those are on the big money stock sites.. depends on ya budget.

I downloaded several from Photos.com that might work for you, Tofu, but you'll have to tweak them. And most aren't full body shots. Let me know if you want to see them.
