What do you picture in your mind when you think of Arizona?

Blizzard.
I was driving from California to Connecticut once and I got stuck in a Blizzard in Flagstaff Arizona. Go figure.

The red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek canyon, The Grand canyon, The Painted desert and petrified forest, Meteor crater, Flagstaff and the Snow bowl, the hot Southern desert, sand dunes and rattlesnakes and Gila monsters, Lake Powell and Lake Mead,Ancient Indian ruins and centuries old petroglyphs, some terrific people, and a host of other sights and sounds you wouldn't know unless you lived here..And, of course, I do live in Arizona ...

I also took a house boat down the Colorado river, I believe it started at lake Powell. It was the most incredible time I ever had.

Thanks for the imagery Padre. I'm working on a site for a guy in Arizona and I'm not sure how to progress with the theme. Hence the question in this thread.

Golden sands, red bluffs, cactus, tumbleweed....
Very much as someone said above "YOUNG GUNS" which is a fab movie by the way... one of my all time faves.
