Would "wiener" work as well?

Yeah, those too.....you know those leftovers they scrape off the Packing house floor. Embarassed funny how the world loves hotdogs and slimjims. Argh oohhhh and potted meat.

Rolling Eyes Inserting paint into your anus and spraying the canvas is not abstract...NO matter how many colors you use. If at first glance you can't tell what the painting is....it's not a person, a lake, a whatever. Then it's just a bunch of lines, shapes, and smears. Sure you see something in it if you stare at it. Thats the same thing as looking at clouds and picking out a cat....Your mind does that.....I don't know what it's called but basically a human brain searches out shapes when it has NO MORE INFO to go on. GET IT....NO MORE INFO....AS IN....there is nothing there. You see bugs..he see's lines..she see's a waterfall and sheep????
When Picasso blows the lips and nose out of proportion on a woman....he's maybe trying to say....she is a loud mouth, nosey hag and nothing more.

Laughing I'd like to learn more about Picasso and all the other great artists through your candid interpretations. Perhaps a coffee table book, "DewDew sees Doo-doo."

I've been away for a goodling while but I love a good art fight lol.

I have this wonderful idea on a show- find a car junkyard. Get the owner to agree to allow me and a few friends to have a go at the cars with paint, cans, airbrush, brushes and any form of "paint" we want and create the car junkyard art expose'. I think it would be a real hoot.

I love abstract art but I love the use of textures and colors. I am not a big fan of art that is so weird that it's mistaken as trash and dumped out back.

I have seriously for years tried to figure out Picasso. I have decided he was hung on on the human body. His paintings of women always seem to have a phallus running out the nose. Why is that? I see scribbles when I see Picasso but he's important for some reason so I let him be. I think some of his line drawings are nice but they are few and far between.

Art is in the eye of the beholder. My art is your trash and vice versa.

And I would love to see Dew's art book on the artistic greats and someone please do that anal collage and post it. Twisted Evil Very Happy

ok...rewind a bit to "abstract"
Europian Postwar Abstraction

Quote:
Fontana seeks to transcend the confines of the two-dimensional surface by slashing the canvas and revealing its sculptural dimensionality.

Rolling Eyes Hmmm
I'm try'n to "see thru" this , but all I see is (a pic of)5 slashes thru a canvas at slightly different angles and I don't really think see'n this in person (of which I have seen similar of) will help that.
Go ahead and slap me for this and call me ignorant, uninformed, or unimaginative but this just seems pretentious.

Laughing Laughing it's comical...but also could be very true.
Everyone tries to make it out like the greats were great minded people, when they most likely were not . Di'vinci had a great mechanical mind, but at the same time, he almost never finished anything....could be a result of being too smart...but most likely it was A.D.D.
Who's the guy that done the field of sunflowers or poppys....everyone thinks he was so fantastic because of his brush strokes...like Monet.....hell, may be he suffered from a stoke, or just had the Shakes.

I know you have seen the movie Slingblade. Remember the guy who was sweating and scratching his head tring to get the lawnmower to start. He was checking Spark Plug Gap, timing gap, pulling the carb, checking for blocked holes......The owner calls Billybob over, and the first thing he does is take off the Gas cap and said..ITS OUT OF GAS....... Shocked ...A regular Eli Whiney on the lawnmower...but you ain't letting Carl tell you how to do your TAXES are ya. Cool

Well i have to stop now...there are 5 pages about abstract Laughing ART on a comment thread...and i'll be Blamed for HIjacking the damn thread with my three post if i don't. Razz

Manic...some CHICK..i think she was a PORN STAR.... Shocked (gotta love a artistic pornstar).....that actually does this...anus abstarct stuff.... Argh ...i don't get the feeling she is all that smart...NOt too hard on the eyes....but my first impression was not Genius....oohhhh and Pamela Anderson is not Abstarct. She is a WHORE....a rich and judging from the tape, a Talented Whore. Twisted Evil .but a whore none the less.
