is that a "V" star? i only ask because of the way the front finder bevels to a simi sharp body line as it curves over the top... so if it is then i would stay away from the orange as harley uses a lot of orange. also when you rake a front end you loose your turning radius... i would go w/ a set of apehangers and a tail dragger rear end perhaps a mat or satin black would accent the chrome and give it the mean look you are looking for? just an idea from one rider to another...
allthough my bike has been out of commision for almost 2 years and is sadly collecting dust and cobwebs
Yes it is a Vstar. I am trying to thing of cool things to do with it without going broke. I drive it to work almost every day as long as it is not raining or snowing. Sometimes even the rain does not stop me. I put 15,000 miles on it in a year. So far I put Vance and Hines pipes on it, a Procharger, and some highway bars. I was thinking of a mat black, but I like the dragster bars more than I like the ape hangers. It keeps the profile low and mean. Like these.
These are bikes that I like (especially the first one, the second one is raked out a bit too much for my tastes):
But I sure as hell can not afford to buy one.
These are also Star Motorcycles. (or should I say were?)
