Has anyone been having problems uploading photos to Photobucket lately?

I am not sure if it is my computer or Photobucket itself, but when I click on the browse button to look for my photo, it does nothing.

I tried contacting Photobucket, and they said it could be a Flash or Java issue on my end, but I see no problems on my end.

Anyone else?

I used photobucket yesterday for abs' fish thread...

Are there any other free image hosting sites that are good to use?

Have you tried the two other links, the bulk uploader link or the OLD UPLOADER link? They may work better for you. And if you use IE and have had the latest update, maybe you need to renew the pop up allowence for photobucket.

I use imageshack for some anon contests

that link above you don't have to sign up for anything... you just upload and copy the tag to use...
if you want to keep the page handy, just bookmark it Wink

I was gonna say OhShot as well. But know that once the pic is uploaded you have zero control over it and can't locate it again if you don't save the URL. I use OhShot for "throw-away" posting.

On Photobucket switch to "old uploader" and that should work.

It must be a problem they are having with the new one.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I think I figured out the problem. I believe it is a Firewall conflict with my router and Windows Firewall.

When I am on my laptop using wireless, Photobucket works great.

It's just when I am using the house computer that my router is hooked into, is where Photobucket will not allow me to upload.

I guess I will just stick to my laptop.
