Same guy did this:
http://www.brandejs.ca/portfolio/Animatronic-Flesh-Shoe
Quote: Animatronic Flesh Shoe [2004]
(Moving, twitching, pulsating.)
Media
Latex, Steel, Gear motors, Printed circuit, Rio MP3 Player, Batteries, Staples, Roommates Hair.
Scale
Size 10 shoe
The shoe is stitched together with multiple pieces of latex rubber cast out of moulds made from my own skin. The shoe's toe and heel raise and lower as it occasionally vibrates/pulsates, and twitches on the floor as if it were still alive. The movement is not constant, and usually causes people to jump back while they are in the middle of leaning in for a closer look.
Artist statement
It's a Nike shoe stapled together with human flesh, twitching...
Ick.

That may be fake but this is definitely NOT and is much worse than that kitty in the blender because it is REAL and not done with photoshop .It is a video clip showing the cruel methods applied in handling cats and dogs used in the Chinese fur industry.I felt almost nauseous half way through seeing this.I bring it to your attention here in order to make people conscious of the reality of this most cruel cultural behaviour and industry in China.Hopefully with pressure from outside China this can one day come to an end.Although we in the west also have a lot of blood on our hands (bullfighting in my own country, which I am totally against, and the Canadian seal fur industry come to mind, not to mention the clandestine pitbull and cockeral fights in many western countries,etc.etc.) .I include a warning with this link that this video is difficult to watch for most people with sane sensibilities, however I feel we must also be aware of what is really going on and see it with our own eyes in order to pressure ourselves to act and help put an end to these cruel cultural customs in China and other countries in the future.Designed, I know your girlfriend will not want to watch this...
