Reindude, you've got to embrace the snow. Nothing says "I love you" more than walking with your gf on a snow covered day, stopping to "tie your laces" and hitting her off the back of the head with a snow ball. Did you not see Dumb and Dumber?

With appreciation of the rest of the drivers on the highway, we are honored to award to Mr. Rei N. Man, the 2009 Safe Driving Award.

I'll be updating you on all the SLUSH soon - it's pissing down rain here, about 3°C at the moment, and very pleasant NOT.
LOTS of FUN for EVERYONE!!!!

as much as I'm enjoying the beautiful snow covered hills of Reinmans "Sound of Music" neighborhood I'm somehow drawn in the direction of Pearlie but I don't know why......

What's with the ice pellets?
I'll have my camera ready for you, rein. How cold can a lens get before it cracks?

Lol! That's the first time I've ever seen "ice pellets" in a forecast. All of you up there must have been really bad or something. Just wondering what you need to go out in "ice pellets"? Rain=umbrella ice pellets=trash can lid?
Stay safe up there

OK, you guys in the frigid northwest... I had the chance to live in NORTH Florida for ten years... and it got dang cold up there. But it didn't last that long......
I don't know how you all deal with that stuff for so looooooooooooooooong!!
One winter in Gainesville, it got down to 8 little measly degrees (Fahrenheit) - our water pipes froze! And then in Jacksonville it friggin SNOWED!!!!!!!! There were these drifts and little pea-sized hail all over the place and the grass was 'crunchy'. Our poor little doggie didn't like that one bit. There was 1/4 inch of ice encasing our car. I wrote 'I heart Florida' on the back windshield in the ice. They closed down all the bridges downtown.
But what the heck are ice pellets???????????

I think that ice pellets are what happens when snow melts on the way down and then refreezes just before landing on your car or sidewalk. Nasty stuff. Developed by splinter cells in Russia, or so I've heard.
Okay - it isn't that fun anymore. You can get stuck in about 1 inch of snow today - the slush on top of frozen ice makes your tires like ball bearings greased with baby poo.
Higher up the hills from our place it is still PARTY FUN HAPPY SLIDE SLIDE RIDE time. Beautiful... but DEADLY! (just like ME! )
