Nice shots, Tesore. Very ROUND shot, Splodge!
Sage, that is PURTY!
So, Tesore, a "luge run" is a space where you let your pet luge run around. Like a "dog run", except for luges. (glad I could clear that up for you! )
Here is a quick update as to our SNOW situation in Vancouver area:
This is an un-chopped photo. It's an advert sign at a local ESSO petrol station. I thought it said it all!
Currently we are dealing with a LOT of fog.

Holly cow! There's still some snow in Vancouver!
I think your city needs mighty machines like that... shot from my window...

Hey! We were under -20*C (-5*F) all week. Now it's -21*C. It went down to -30*C (-22*F) by night. It will finally heat up tomorrow... turning around -17*C. I went outdoors wearing only t-shirt to put garbage out just for 30 seconds this morning at -26*C. My shirt turned cold like ice.
I shot some pictures of frost on my bedroom windows...

Nice . . . . er, FROST did you call that stuff?
What filter did you use on your shots to get that effect?

Oh, yes, you've never heard of the Frost Filter?
We use that all the time in Florida!
And of course the Fog Filter if we get bored.

THose are very nice, Mr. Claf. It didn't get cold enough here to get that on our West Coast windows. Thank GOODNESS!
BTW - you might know, Claf: wtf is Pearlie talking about... this "frog" filter? Doesn't sound very nice, now does it?

It's cold.
The luge run is getting near completion. Took advantage of the nice weather before the arctic air settled in. I will check it out tomorrow, see if I can carve a path in what is now pretty solid ice. Maybe I'll increase my girlfriend's insurance policy and let her have the first run.
A luge is NOT a pet, Tesore. Don't listen to madman. It's a high-tech toboggan, as seen in the Olympics...where the riders are wearing helmets and stuff...cause ice hurts when you smack it at however fast these guys go.
My luge...not so high-tech...just a piece of flat plastic with a rope. Should work.

Yo, ReinDude... put those mature vision devices on and take another look at what I wrote...
I checked, and thank goodness, I wasn't being 'human' again...
I said Fog Filter.......
that's after boredom sets in.
But we use the Frost Filter when we want to simulate what the
snowbound unfortunates in the frigid north are going through.
Hey, Sage, ever try a garbage can lid? Back in the 'old days' when I was in college, I had the chance to visit friends in Illinois in the winter, and watched the guys slide down their snowy driveway in them! Hilarious.

About shit myself laughing at that one, Tesore!
That's the only kind of toboggan ride that Al & Pearlie can count on enjoying!
Sage? Careful now, boy! Don't kill any of your offspring on that thing, okay?
Claf? Stop licking that metal post! (that IS a METAL post isn't it? You wouldn't be licking any OTHER kind of post would you? Hmmmm... perhaps I've asked TOO MUCH!?
