On the flip side is ENTERING chat. Sometimes it's awkward...as in nobody's there...and it seems you're talking to yourself. Well, quite often I am. Or...OR...if lots of ppl are there, do you just barge in and start chatting or do you have to say "hi" to everyone?
It's a huge, messy conundrum.

Feral, and many others, were in chat A LOT several years ago. One night I decided to sign off to get some sleep and I typed "g'night! *blows kisses*" but I didn't leave right away.

Sometimes it pays to stick around a few moments after departing de chat.

The POODLE is NOT the point here, Alan! 
It is the ACTIVITY that EVE, er um.... PERFORMS with said POODLE that is the EYE OPENER! (note the open eyes)
Less importantly, I've noted that FIVE people have been kept in chat longer than planned by Arcaico's nasty (and perhaps somewhat Latino) behavior. I hope the MODs are taking note of this! He's a menace and if his name were Dennis then, well, by gosh, there'd be a story here and all my blathering would be worth something...
