We Canadians, ironically, HATE Canadian Geese.

We sometimes call them GREASE MACHINES, and most of our public beaches and parks are covered in their GREASE.

Siberian geese, there are myths about their down feathers, that create the warmest blankets.

I never quite understood this... are their down feathers really that much warmer than their up feathers....?

And why is it one "goose" and more than one is "geese"... When you have one "moose" and more than one is "moose"...

I was driving on a road by a pond....as i make a curve i notice a Male Goose standing right in the middle of the road watching, as a line of female cross the raod to get from one pond to another. I pull up and stop like i'm waiting on kids to cross the raod The Gander turns around and gives me a honk.... i think what the hell...then all the sudden he opened both wings wide....stuck his neck out and started toward my truck HISSING. Dude, i thought he was going to try and eat the truck. As the others finally crossed..he backed down and went on his way...COCKY LITTLE BASTARDS.
