hey guys i have photoshop cs3 and i have a text problem. When i click the T and make a text box and try to type in it the text comes out as a line pretty much. It can be any size and it will still come out as a tiny line!
Any idea's?

I had it do that to me too. If you can find the little line you can resize it with transform tool or you can follow the steps that Patre recommends on the Artistic filter has vanished thread. Thats what I did.

I find my TEXT palettes get muddled up on a regular basis. Usually it is NOT a preference glitch, just too many settings getting mixed up from different usage of the texting thang.

What to do? Why not reset the TEXT's Character & Paragraph defaults!



I do this whenever things get weird in TextLand... that way I have a 'knowable' point to work from again.

Make sure that the colour you are typing with is different to the background colour.

see what i mean?

As in, you can't see white text on a plain white background.
