I really wanted this. I have time to come up with great ideas but I seem to not get anything working until the night before. I even hired an assistant to look up my externals for me she didn't work out though I had to let her go. I post minutes before the contest because There is a lot more I want to do to the image which almost screwed me twice because site was down.
I do not take this contest lightly I have been up against the greats with more to come. I am honered to still be here.

4. I don't like any of these comments. This thread sucks. The last comment was not bad by jerryhami, I'll vote for that one. Nancers was ok. The rest are garbage.

I didnt read the whole forum, im only popping pn for a second, but overall, I knew that the image I did wasnt a "round 5" quality idea... did I like it, sure...was I expecting to be the best entry, not at all..

Ive never made it past round 2 in the past, so this is just gravy for me at this point. That being said, I take most "this one sucks less" comments with a grain of salt.. dont like it, dont vote for it. dont like either, dont vote for either. Honestly, its just a chance to chop and have some fun trying new things. I was going for an HDR-ish look in the end which Ive never done before (and im sure it showed), but I had fun with it.

Now... I'll say this... in the semi-finals its me and reyrey... one of the greatest choppers to ever join this site... and even though my wife and I just had a baby (shameless plug - Rebecca Rose, 9lbs, 5oz, 22in born 5/9/09 at 3:01am).. I'm definitely looking forward to being the underdog... Im coming for you ReyRey.
