Great Tut, Rein!

Smile I'll be using that tool from now on!

You rock dude!

I will say, that in one spot you mention keeping the brush 60% on the background and 30% on the part you want to keep... Laughing Stick with PS, math is not your forte!

Though it is very true that I suck at math, what I meant was 60% on background, 30% on the part you want to keep, and the extra 10% you give to the Church of Adobe. I should have mentioned that... Wink

Embarassed heh.... I just discovered that my old Adobe has the extract filter too. Wow, now I can play around some more!

Thanks Reinman!

I've heard that his navel is an "outie", but I don't know if that would qualify as neat stuff. Rolling Eyes

By using your tut:

I were finally able to extract myself in one piece Smile

No seriously, I was always messing around with hairs when extracting something or someone.
My method was always by using the 'background eraser' tool and that worked till a certain level.

Thanks Rein!

Thanks everyone!

I'm glad it was helpful AND entertaining. Wink

Yes, I'm thinking of what I want to do next. I also want to figure out some of that SCREEN RECORDING software so I can do proper tutorials, instead of having a camera over my shoulder. Laughing

(Kinetic mentioned "Camstudio" - I checked that out but it is only for PC, so I'll keep looking... If any of you know an equivalent FREE app for the MAC folks, lemme know please!)

I'll let you know when I do!
