Photoshop is much more powerful than MS Digital Image Pro. I've just begun becoming familiar with it. So much is new that I'm not sure where to begin. Any suggestions?

Mainly just don't get discouraged and don't limit yourself to just tuts on photo manip. You'll be amazed at how fast you will learn the pen tool, by tracing a kids coloring page. Then learn about layer modes by coloring it.
