Help me if I'm wrong.
It's not about backing up a child abuser. Which we don't know is even true about Michael. It's about having respect for the dead. He was an icon that influence many people all over the world. It is insensitive and ignorant to make the arguments you are making.
You mentioned Lennon and Elvis like they were some kind of gods. So you condone adultery and drug use? Or maybe bigotry like Elvis was known for?
Let's recognize the good he did and the impact he had on the world.
not the accusations, which have never been confirmed.
I agree!
With that said, obviously MJ had major issues and the first thing people want to do to another human being because he/she did something that was unspeakable or not up to societal standards is to rid them from society or from living altogether rather than see that they are just humans with animal instincts and sometimes we do things that we cannot explain or control or we even do them knowingly but ignore the consequence, who isn't guilty of that? If you are saying you are not, you are a liar. Some also fail to see that because we are "so called civilized" we should know right from wrong. However, that is not always the case. Sometimes we are born and raised into a poor environment that makes us who we are too and some can walk through it and some can't. So I guess we let the ones that can't be shunned from the planet, right? It is just like a baby being born with extra limbs or mentally retarded, who would be laughed at and ridiculed for something they couldn't control. I am sorry that there are some really sick people in the world and I don't condone what sick people do, however; I can understand why certain unspeakable events happen, therefore, I am impartial to all of it. Understand before you criticize.

Just one question to all the MJ supporters out there.
Would you let your young son spend the night with MJ at his ranch?
As a parent I know my answer proven paedophile or not I would not take that chance.

I wouldn't, but not for obvious reasons as some have mentioned here. I don't just leave my kid sleep at just anyone's house and I wouldn't start because someone is rich and famous either. I have to know the person well enough and be really comfortable and secure with someone before I would leave my kid with them. I know there are not so good people in the world and I don't want to ever have my child go through something that is terribly harmful to her if I know I can prevent it.

Here here...I've never understood the way people lose their sense of logic when it comes to celebs.
I know you meant more than that but I've had a few too many beers to elaborate

Yeah...and really, in the end of it all...I couldn't give two shits what a certain celeb. does in his/her/it's personal life. Their job is to entertain me....if they can do that...well then...fine.

Yeah..well, I think that sadly enough, it rings closest to the truth. Hell, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he had his "parts" removed ...amongst his gazillion surgeries.
