I have recently purchased a new monitor, Dell 2408WFP. I have a color problem that keeps on bothering me when I work in Photoshop. While in Phtoshop the color looks different from when I save it to my desktop. When saved to desktop it looks much more saturated.. My working profile is Adobe RGB 1998.. I have included a link with a picture.. Check it out.. Thanks.

Update: Ughh I can't seem to post a picture for some reason.. Ughh

color management issue

according to a short google search, you can leave your profiles as they are, but the setting View-> Proof Setup -> Monitor RGB should solve your problem for now.
see here: http://photo.net/digital-darkroom-forum/00IJYv

another entertaining thread on this subject (and color mangement in general) you'll find here: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/input-output-workflow/21059-different-colour-photoshop-windows-viewer.html
try to sort out that one... scratch

sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Color profile doesn't seem to do the trick.

However, changing it to

Monitor RGB - Dell 2408WPF Color Profile, D6500 does the job... or at least looks better than any other color profiles.

Yeah, I didn't know which one to pick for a good month. I had been researching for a very long time, than finally decided to go with this one..
