Would you guys be interested in making a PSC PHOTOWALK CALENDER?
Have 12 of the best PSC entries from each year 2009 or 2008?

This would be a good thread topic on it's own db...more people will see it. Sounds like a great idea though

I think that these dates are too soon after the last one. Let's not spoil something that was entertaining and that a lot of people participated in. Let's build up some kind of suspense until the next one.
I thought that if we schedued the photowalk to coincide with the changing of the seasons it would give a schedule that would always be the same and at the same time display the seasons where we live. Spring Photowalk, Summer Photowalk, etc., or Spring equinox, Summer solstice.
Therefore if we started September 22 this year, we would be on track and coincidentally this ties in with the purposed PSC calendar.
My personal feeling is that we should only post a limited amount (quantity to be agreed on) so that viewing of all the pictures does not become too time consuming and we get to see all the pics of all the participants.

If you are just simply talking about a simple printable PDF...then that would be fantastic.

That was alot of fun. Wish we had the cash to go to the Pre-Conference Safari Photo shot

I like the idea of having seasonal Photowalks.
One in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
How does March, June, September, December sound?

I can't speak for everyone, of course, but where I live spring hasn't properly sprung yet in March (more springlike from late April/early May), June,July,August are fine for summer shooting, October would make for better Autumnal shots (the trees have amazing colours by then...September-not so much) and December is hit or miss whether or not we have any snow yet...January would be better.
Sorry, not trying to sound like a whiny bastard here ... that's just how the seasons rock out in Ontario. I'm sure it's different in other parts of the world. Hell, some places probably don't even get that drastic a change from season to season. But, if I were going for seasonal shots, the above times would suit me better.
I'll shut up now

I love the season idea!
- Make it: April, July, October and January!
May = H2H Spring
June = ScavHunt
Aug/Sept = summer holiday
Nov = H2H autumn???
Dec = Christmas cards
Etc.
- Post a limited amount sounds good! The 5 best shots imo. And maybe the DBB Jury can tell us wich photo is good enough to send in as a source?! Someone has to do it! And perhaps we can open 1 (p.e.) Photobucket account for all the photo's?
Thanks for the work you put in here, it's so positive! We all know that's a good thing! As I can help, let me know.

The difference in seasons from one country to the other i think adds a nice touch to the whole thing.
After all PSC is a world wide community and to show how different the seasons are from one country to the next would be a really nice idea.
Christmas in Australia can often take place on the beach while having a barbie, and in the UK its usually cold and wet, in parts of the US they have snow.
I really like the idea
What if we also had special seasonal chopping contests, each would have a seasonal theme and the winning chop would be the page for that season.
Just a thought

I like the one account idea. This would make the viewing so much easier.
