Tips on achieving something like that?
I played with this pic of my daughter:
and I chose it because she had fairly good eyes to use....
She was really ticked I was altering her, and told me not to save it, so shhhh... don't tell her!
This is what I came up with, and while I think it is kind of cool, it is nowhere near the caliber of the ones in the original post.
I think I overdid the mouth, that still isn't settling right with me.
Here's what I did...
Most of it was done with liquify tool, as you can see she has a pretty square jaw.... then I added some anime style hair with brushes, then the wings, then some more glowing trails to add sparkle to the wings, and quite a bit of burning around the edge... slight texture to the pic, and a bevel and emboss to make the edge a little more interesting.
I always have trouble getting that "china doll" feel to the skin in photos.
Any tips on that, tutorial links, would be really appreciated!
