The quote from chat that you are referring to are lyrics from a song called "Gangsta Gangsta" by NWA. They are the lyrical stylings of the rapper Ice Cube. In rap culture, African American's commonly refer to each other as n*ggas. So you will find that many rap songs have frequent use of this term. Being a Caucasian, I felt it would be inappropriate to use the completed spelling of the term when quoting such awesome lyrics, so I put an astrick in place of the "I".
