I want to apply a texture to a drawing I have colored. But the texture filter won't turn on. Do I need to apply the filter to each layer before I merge it? I guess Im asking, how do I turn on the texture filter?

when you say it wont turn on , do you mean it's greyed out and unavailable ?

If that's the case then have you checked to see if you're in 16 or 32 bits per channel mode?

Texture filter only works in 8bits.

Make sure it is RGB
