Interesting thing that tineye...I've never heard of it before reading this thread.
I did a search for one of our open contest source images and this is what I got:
So that means even MORE people may be using your image to sell shit and tineye isn't finding them......

True. They are still new and building up their database.
They have a plugin for browsers that makes it quick to check an image.
You just right click and chose tineye and the search pops up in a new
tab. It's. almost instant.
You can send them images too.

I think that we need to step up our game here at PSC, because most, and I mean all but about 2 or 3, of the images on intertet.org are from Worth1000! I wonder how those artists feel about their work being ripped off. But, then again, this particular site isn't trying to sell stuff with the images, like Rey's new CD company.

I contacted this Dr. Mitchell and he was a gentleman about it and quickly gave me $750 via pay pal. Score one for the good guys.
I would have charged him more but he was very humble and nice about it.

With the size of our entries, it must not even print in optimal quality...

Hmmmm.... it still doesn't find any of my images that I KNOW are being used out there on the www.
I'll try some more later... but right now I'm thinkin' you got lucky, Mr. Rey (lucky, in the sense that you did due diligence and this time it paid off! )

Great, Rey, all you need to do is pay $8,275 to register all your regular contest entries, and $375 for you H2H entries. Plus a few 10ks for all the other images you've created elsewhere.
Mikey's entries would rack up almost $40,000 into the pockets of the copyright office.
Good thing graphic artists make boat loads of money. All you have to do is rent out your yacht for a day or two.
