Not that I wouldn't mind having one for on-the-go web browsing, but Christ, the hype surrounding this thing is ridiculous. Everyone pretty much knew exactly what it'd look like and what it would do even before Apple decided to make it. 
(If you think I'm kidding, go look for some of the various "what-if" renders that are pretty much exactly what the iPad turned out to be.)

 I'm looking forward to someone somewhere developing this form to have the functions I/we want. I guess what I, personally, want is a remote, touch-screen monitor-tablet for my main computer. Like a graphical graphics tablet that can connect through WiFi independently or with file sharing and doesn't require a stylus. No reason why such a device couldn't be a full-fledged computer to meet all your computing needs, too... I just want it cheap; even cheaper than it's listed for now.
And yeah, the name is unfortunate.
