Jan Garbarek
Sorry BC!
... 3 months and half later ... here's my answer: Yes!
But I don't know him well. I heard some of his music a long time ago but I didn't listen to his music for a big while.
Is he doing more contemporary stuff more recently?
Which Garbarek album you prefer?

I have'nt heard all of his work but from what I've heard I like
Twelve Moons best, I think. I do think that his latest album (in my original post..I believe) is really good also. It reminds me a bit of like Nils Petter Molvaer (of which you introduced me to..some pages back...ThankYou!!)....minimal, jazz...etc ...and maby a bit someJean Michel Jarre.

FUnny, you mention Jean Michael Jarre and I immediately think of Jean-luc Ponty.
Cosmic Messenger was an amazing album.
I'm not a jazzoid, but that stuff was pretty cool... great for driving through mountains and huge vistas etc.
