I keep checking the obituaries to see if my name is there. If it's not, then I figure I'm ok.

Okay, as a non-designer, merely-a-scientist-type: Did Claude get those jobs because he's really good, or did he create those designs from vague ideas of a marketing-type?
Either way, I'm very impressed with the delivery!

I don't know if it's because I'm good, but I get those jobs.
I feel lucky to have the privilege to work with some great photographers.
This is some published advertising jobs.
Usually I don't create so much. My work is mostly technical and artistic... the photographers who work on those projects too. The art directors create the concepts.
But in some occasion like for the aids ad, they asked me before the production what is possible to do and what is the best way to do it, and they also asked me to be at the photo shootings... my help was necessary on the visual creation from the beginning. But most of the time, I'm only asked to do the final step, the Photoshop job... just do what they ask me to do... and/or also what they sometimes aren't able to do.

Obviously, the work of black magic.

I get to work the same way with creatives and photographers but I am working on pictures of sandwiches. Not as much fun.

A really nice, moody, weird body of work. A lot of thought went into the lighting details. Where does one order the Ducati "after" model; it is way cooler looking than the "before" model. I really like the atmosphere and B&W contrasts of the milk campaign, although I would like to see some milk dripping from her vampire mouth. The simplicity of the Olympic supplier ad works wonderfully.

Great work Claf, truely an inspiration to those who visit the boards, my fav has to be the milk one, for the simple reason that theres a mistake there that makes this all the more unique, you can see all the subtle changes in the psd, everything is spot on mate. Very much appreciated you showing us and giving me a kick up the backside

Great stuff, as usual, mon ami. Sucks about the lack of credit for your work.
BTW, Rey, I heard Claf gets the fun jobs only 'cause, apparently, he looks good in a skirt. That's how things seem to work here, in Montreal... You could get the fun jobs, too... although you'd probably have to shave your cleavage.
