Since my wife signed up and has been able to vote, there has been a problem..

We cannot vote on the same entry. If she votes on one, I cant, and same with her.

I just thought I would let you know that is why I have not been voting much.


We get this error,

The rules to vote are as follows:

1. You must be a registered member and signed in.
2. You must have posted at least 10 images of your own.
3. You must select a vote quality.
4. You cannot vote for your own post.
5. You cannot vote for an entry more than once.
6. You cannot vote more than 25 times in a single contest.
7. You cannot vote for the same entry more than once from the same ip address.

If you have any advice on how to get around this, that would be nice.. im not fond of public proxies.

that's happen to me too.
When vovo came to my house and voted the entries, i can't vote the entries that she voted.
So i used my phone to vote it.
And n0w i'm using phone to reply ur thread.

Therefore. . . Get another internet device.

maybe it recognizes IP addresses just hit the button harder

seems to me that it wil be the same ip address conflict...

or you could change te ip address after your wife have voted ...
but you'll prob. have to do that every time..

ANyway, I used to have another access to the net, but that got too expensive.

Separate computers not a problem, She is PC, I am MAC..lol
2 road runner connections would cost wayy too much just to be able to vote..

Changing my IP, it works sometimes, but more often than not, my IP stays the same.
i can unplug my modem for several minutes, and it will still use the same one when it comes back on.


I might try to set up a private proxy on one of my hosts.. its against the hosts rules to do it though.. lol

actually after she gets finished voting, im going to unplug the net for a while and see if it will grab a new ip.
