I just found some software (that I assume has been out for a while) that I think is really cool. It's called teleport. (http://www.abyssoft.com/software/teleport/)

Here is my dilemma: I have a laptop and a desktop computer. I want to use one keyboard and trackball mouse to control both of them.



What teleport does, not only makes this easy, it does even more! Now I can control both systems with one keyboard and trackball mouse, copy and paste from one computer to the next, and drag and drops files from one computer to the next. The best part is, it's free and took less than five minutes to install.

I just wanted to post this here in case others have a similar setup, and would like things to operate more smoothly. I've had it running now for about 20 minutes, and I'm absolutely loving it.

Unfortunately, it's Mac-only.
