Immediately the question comes to mind of how much retouching the client wants on the example image:
- Just smoothing out the woman's skin?
- What about color correction?
- Adjusting the shape/angle of the nose?
- Adjusting exposure?
- Add some "pop" to bring out her eyes?
Is this someone's own portrait that will be printed for framing in their own home? Or is this for print media? Or a headshot for a model/actress portfolio? I think knowing these things would help determine what is done to the photo.
For example you wouldn't want to correct too much on the skin for a personal portrait or it could seem like it wasn't the same person.
Or would you just want to see what we would do on our own judgement?
Just thoughts. I'ma try my hand at it.
