The royal wedding. Do you care? Do people in Britain care?
It's all over American TV but I don't know one person who cares. Someone has to be watching this stuff. Is it a big deal, and if so...why? Just wondering.

Happens all the time! They find a subject/topic that hardly anyone cares about or is paying little attention to and run it in the ground!

I know all about it, but I'm just not a Royalist so I'm not bothered about it, plus I'm working that day so no day off for me

I'm not British and it has no bearing on anything other than the tabloids at the checkout lines of the grocery stores, so no.

Mind you there are a lot of people in other countries who do like the fact that here in the UK we have a royal family and a long history, something which many other countries do not have

I think the royalty makes London an interesting place, second only to warm beer.

i certainly did not notice it being 'all over the place' here... think i heard something about the wedding coming up on the tv as i was passing thru editorial desks (i work at a newspaper in the US)

it certainly is not like when Princess Diana got married. I don't think the royals have held as much interest since a few years after her passing.

so it was this weekend? see I don't even know what day it was on. people around here are more in thinking about jobs, money, gas prices, just local stuff.

most I've seen of the royals has been on DVDs!

and I just got email from littleton coin co., featured a coin for the Engagement... they've did a terrible job on the poor girl's face on that coin! The old coin with the queen on the front is much prettier! ha!
