I have spent some time developing various sigs, I was wondering if anyone had some opinions on the matter?

I think a decent signature needs to be small, transparent to the background, and have some decent elements. Same with any layout really (effects and text/theme implementation and DETAIL are key) I worked on this one last week, background of the forum matched the green.. turned out ok..

I can pretty clearly read Dmiller, but as I said, not much time was spent on the text effect.
Here is an example i worked on of a more clearly defined text, same concept with more emphasis on letter to theme integration.. name Mellowpart:

2nd is better. The first I can't read, no matter how hard I try.

k, here was the updated version I did. Same basic principle apply theme/color combo/ lighting / decent effects . Dmiller clearly defined.. same principals apply
