Today I joined the darkside, today I got an iMac 27" at work (we always had PC's here)
It's like learning how to walk again on prosthetic legs, you know how it all works but yet it feels so different Hmmm

MAC desktop.

Windows laptop.

Client files are easier to mail, etc., if done with Windows software.

I do almost all my work on Mac, but bring the laptop to meetings, etc.

File-> Save as-> Word/PowerPoint/Excel works for me.

That said....

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my imovie software. So easy to use and results have been nice! I have had a couple of photo editing software programs on my older Windows machines, and I don't know if it is the "mac" difference or just that the software has advanced to become more user friendly/intuitive, but I enjoy messing with videos in imovie so much!

So there is hope! Only takes a few months to master the Mac Shocked Laughing
I only hear positive stories from people who took "the step"

I used to work kinda fast on the automatic pilot on the PC, so far so good, but I have to think twice for every shortcut combination on the keyboard. (Ctrl + alt is now Cmd + alt etc.)

Well I will keep practising thumright
