I didn't miss the point. I don't agree with it. Ideally, I would like every person who does not vote for my entries to leave a comment saying why. Obviously, that's not realistic, but one can hope. I don't like seeing something not do well without being able to understand why. It would lead to much less frustration for me, and hopefully steady improvement. The point was he didn't like seeing it on every entry. I think it should be on every entry, from many people. Point not missed.

No, you should just pay more attention to your own work.
If I just wanted to look at my own work, I would simply save everything to my desktop and call it a day. I post my work here for feedback. Why else would you post here? It seems some people are only interested in positive feedback, though. If that's what you're about, then only show your work to your mother

Based on his portfolio, I'd say he pays attention to his own work pretty well.
