I don't get it either... spammers aren't starting threads asking for our information.
Forums used to be the target (and still get some spam) but not as much after making it so that you needed to comment on other threads before being able to start your own...
Besides, it absolutely nothing to do with
who gets spammed.
Entries (not users) are being spammed because they're visible on the front page as winners of the past few contests. Esp the latest winner...
Easily seen, easily clicked and commented on. In and out. Spammers aren't getting paid to go through a site and sit there for long periods of time... Click on a few of the front page things, leave you a link
to my spamz and leave.
To curb this, we at PSC should make it so that if you want to comment on entries, you've gotta participate at least once in the daily contests.
