btw, my cast is pink. The caster girl told me they call it "Party Pink". That's some dark hospital humor.

Thanks for all of your well wishes. 
It happened last Sat. Our pit bull saw one of his canine buddies across the street OFF LEASH and wanted to play with him. He literally pulled me off my feet! All of my weight came down on my left wrist because I didn't want to let go of the leash.  Bad dog, bad!
I didn't see a doctor until Wed., convinced it was a sprain, and had some x-rays taken. I get a cast on Monday. 
As a lefty I am partially ambidextrous but I can't write anything right-handed. I'm so depressed.
This sucks...but you guys/gals ROCK!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Eve hope all your family and friends will lessen your burden while you recuperate

There was a time (at least in this sh*** part of the world) when they tie left hands of the left handed students so that every one write only with their right hand. Result - there is lot of older people who can write with both hands... So you can use this to improve your skills  oh, right, and get well soon.

I know you work in the health care industry because that's exactly what they asked me at urgent care. Before it got a splint, I pinned it at around 7-8; after the splint and now in the cast it's just annoying. I'll never take a shower for granted again.
I'd ask for suggestions on how to get something done with one hand, but I know this place too well.

Only when I forget that it's injured and in a cast which happens more often than an intelligent or stupid person might think. My next x-ray is Wednesday.
