Voting options down to 2 so I tossed a handful at it from the rejected queue, but it could use an injection of new sources.

I think something is works wrong with the voting queue
I uploaded 9 images about September
2 accepted and the other 7 still in the voting queue
an other one accepted after a year from upload

Technically this is correct.
The 7 of yours that are in the voting queue have been voted on enough times so that their score (which no one sees) is very high and those images are presented to the daily voters less often (only one slot of 5 is allocated for higher score images).
The one that was approved a long time after you submitted it is because I have been going back through past rejected images and restoring some of those images that are of good quality, which I am doing just to simply keep the flow of sources going when there is a lull in source photo submissions.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the recent surge in source submissions. This is the first time in quite a long time that we haven't had a shortage of new ones. If you have submitted sources in the past few weeks, just know that they will be processed in due time!
