I got inspired to write a poem few fortnights ago and thought I'd share it here where it belongs 
The Ol' PSC
as for PSC
what can one say.
so sad to see
and gets worse day to day.
our once thriving,creative home,
now feels lonelier than being alone,
reduced to a trickle of apathy.
so what has happened to PSC?
all things must pass,the wise men claim
it's law of life,no one to blame,
so while you can and while you may
carpe diem...seize the day!
and if by chance one silent night,
a shooting star appears in sight.
"I wish I may, I wish I might
have this wish I wish tonight."
and if this wish,I wish for you
is really real and could come true,
I'd ask the god of cosmic time
to help me finish off this silly rhyme.
like something lost that you finally find,
this voice appeared,inside my mind.
not sure if it was tomorrow or yesterday
but in a quiet whisper I heard it say,
"with the power bestowed on me
I bring you back the ol' PSC" !

If you guys really want our Ol’ PSC back, it will require daily bickering, complaining, vote whoring, cheating, politicking, backstabbing, and good ol’ entry ‘one-upmanship’. Basically a good fight, with tons of eager fighters ready for the brawl. PSC used to be a place where you could expect a good ego defending bar fight every day. Then it dwindled down to one good fight a week, then one a month. Pathetic. I remember the days when staged fights around here had real blood in them.

When I see late winning entries, number of participants, quality of work, crappy sources, forum topics...PSC has been over run by the second decade of the 21st century and it does not attract new members, only new aliases. There are new generations out there. I recently showed PSC to the group of undergrad students. They all said that they would not spend their time on something useless as PSC. PSC is outdated and has nothing to offer anymore. I wish that someone finally grows cojones and pulls the plug on PSC. There, I said it.

Sad to say I agree. Can't believe the number of times I check to see who is online and I am alone.
