I have not been here in years, but I still think of this place back when it was fun, there was so much talent here back in the day, I would imagine AI has ruined it for them, and now a new generation of so called artists has emerged, even I do AI art since I refuse to be extorted monthly by Adobe, anyway I came across a video of hope, it actually made me cry seeing what we can do if we all stick together and care about the world we all call home.

Thanks Paul for this heartwarming video. But let's not forget that the main part of pollution on Earth is done by the richest countries, even if it is not so obvious to see than litter in the streets.

About AI, most of us use it as a new tool for backgrounds or so in the contests. Just instead of using someone else's photograph. The IA sites are not (yet) producing perfect images, and it is sometimes difficult to make them obey to the prompts we write. So... there is still a lot to do to create proper chops using AI.

PVS Shocked

Sorry, couldn't sit through the entirety of the film. Question, where'd all the muck they cleaned up go?
Big props for whomever funded that humungous endeavor!

Still in FL?
Very Happy

When immersed in polluted water, the skin can absorb various contaminants, posing potential health risks.
Heavy metals, Pesticides and herbicides, VOCs, Bacteria and viruses, and Chemicals.

IMO, ditch sensational filming effects and more attention on how to accomplish this noble task with less risk to the volunteer workers who are slopping in this filth with no protective gear other than an occasional wet paper face mask. Seriously?

Hey Led, and Eve! some Old school peeps in the house! Very Happy
I think everyone is wondering where they put all the collected crap, I bet they sent it to Haiti? Laughing
and yes, the people that got in the water are probably dead by now, unfortunately...
actually they used a lot of collected crap to make art exhibits, sort of like the art shows we have in town, yes I'm still in Fla.
