i have noticed that since becoming a member, it seem that you are alowed to subit pictures above and beyond the old 650x725 sixe (or whatever it was).... whats the limitation of this?

Q: What restrictions are there on contest entries?
A: The image must be a jpeg or a gif file. The size of the file must me under 75KB in actual size. The dimensions must be less than 550 pixels wide by 600 pixels high. Animated gifs are ok, but will have to fit within the above. If you are getting an error message try reducing the file size and/or dimensions just a bit and then uploading again. We would like to provide you with larger formats, but at this time this is the only way we can stay within our operating costs from a disk usage and bandwidth standpoint.

It is 472 x 600 pixels, no bigger than allowed. No one says you have to reproduced the same dimensions as the daily picture and for a Tetris game the extra heigth was good for the image.
