PUERTO VALLARTA, Jalisco, Mexico

I've been going for 25 years, have seen the town change from a sleepy fishing village to a tourist zone for people from all over the planet. Knowing the city I can "avoid" the tourists and stay a little out of town and take in the beauty and peace of nature, not to mention the incredible kindness and loving of the Mexican culture...try to spend 3 or so months there each year...

Other than that, I like a few places closer to (my) home...
Boulder Creek, CA in the REDWOODS! Just heaven!
Santa Cruz beaches, (nude ones in particular!)
and the Santa Ynez Valley area--lovely, lotzo wine ("Sideways" country) Heading there this weekend to spend time at a good friends horse ranch...


PS Amsterdam is my FAVORITE city. But haven't been able to get back there for years...
