Glad the flight went well but sorry about your dog - take care

Despite my continual ribbing, I'm glad your plane flew and flew well. I know you put a lot of time and energy into it...geek that you are.

And ouch on your dog - that sucks Ed, I'm so very sorry I know you have kids, it's doubly hard on them. If you haven't heard of the rainbow bridge poem, you might want to google it for them. It really helped my kids last spring when our dog was hit by a car and didn't make it. I think our vet gave us a post card with it on it or something. Again, I'm really sorry, pets are members of the family too.

Im happy to hear about the successful flight, and feel for you about your dog. My cat had a stroke or something and died a bit back.

It is so very hard to lose a dog and friend who has been part of the family for a long time. Our dog , 12 years with the family-since a puppy, died in Novemer, 2004, and I still grieve..

My most sincere condolences on the loss of your dog, ED. That's one of the worst experiences there is.

As others have said, Ed - sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your dog. It's true, as Patre says, that losing a pet can be surprisingly hard to bear.

Congratulations on a successful maiden flight though - a shame you weren't able to capture it for posterity!
