How do we post images in the chat now?

By theory you should be able to just do it by typing in the image URL. Make sure you have at least one SPACE before and after it.

JMH was doing some tweaking yesterday and it wasn't working well for a bit. But I think he's licked the problem now.

Are we finally going to see those Salsa Dance Lesson pictures of you and that Mexican that you told me about! Very Happy Shocked Very Happy

Actually, it is good that a member needs to WORK at figuring it out a bit - otherwise we'll have HUNDREDS of IMAGES in the chat posted by people who post images in chats.

This way only a select few of us who have done the RESEARCH and CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN can have the pleasure of experiencing the DEEP JOY and HEART OPENEDNESS of posting an image of Jessica Simpson holding a Badger ™ in chat.

jmh - any reason why this was done? im not to fond of it cause now i cant tell if someone is linking to porn or a news story... or is there a way to find out without clicking the link?

yes, to neaten up the site a bit. It will also allow for really long urls and images to be posted eventually. Its just a clone of tinyurl.com that is faster and has a local api.
