Dear Friends @ PSC;

I have a confession to make...
I have never used, owned or even looked at an actual Photoshop Program.
I would like to sincerely appologize to those who I may have gotten more votes than in previous contests. I am a fraud. I have been using MS Paint and Windows Photo Editor for the past... well, ever since I found this site. I have been jealous of all your skills and wanted to join in on the party. I feel like an underage drinker turning in their fake ID.

I am sorry and I hope everyone can forgive me.
Thanks for all the fun times we have had.

Sincerely
3rian

Take two PS filters and call me in the morning. It will be all right.

That's not against the rules. You can use alternative image editing programs. I used MS Picture It 99 and 2002 for a very long time. Although I guess that explains that compression problem Wink

ha! I don't use Photoshop either. I have Paintshop Pro, which I have used on all my entries thus far. (I believe Vunt Van Pumunt does also)

And I am now looking at the GIMP! It's fun, it's fast, and it's FREE. Well, it's not fun, and it's not that fast, but HEY it's FREE! Actually the latest version is a far far better version than any previous one to date. It'll take me a while to become efficient with it, though...

Happy chopping! (No matter what yer usin'!)

It's the chop that counts, not the tool.

That has shades of "It's not the size of the tool but how you use it" written all over it Laughing Laughing

I use Macromedia Fireworks and the GIMP in tandem. Although I do have several PS plugins, filters, etc. that work in both Fireworks and the GIMP.

Does that make me a bad person? (RHETORICAL!)

I don't recall anywhere on this site a statement that says, "You MUST use PS to chop on this site".

Who cares?

I used Photoshop Elements for ages before I got PS7. I still use Elements for a few things I just know how to do in that program faster.

So, next time you want to do this 3rian, play truth or dare. I'd have picked "dare" for sure! Wink

Well guys, thanks for the comments. It has been difficult with limited programs, but fun trying to compete with pro's while still using amateur techniques... I am probably the best copy/paster on the site. Try changing an image pixel by pixel in paintbrush hoping noone notices.
